LeadingAge PA’s 2022 Annual Conference, to be held June 21-24, offers presenters an unparalleled forum to showcase a variety of forward-thinking ideas and innovations in senior care and services. Current and emerging trends, financial operations, reimbursement issues, technology advancements, marketing strategy, and regulatory environment are just a few of the focus issues you will find in our breakout and keynote sessions! 


Proposal Guidelines

Conference Audience
The conference audience is comprised of CEOs, middle/senior managers, and other key professionals providing services and housing to older adults. Professionals in aging services and allied fields (i.e. fundraising, architecture, marketing, education, law, financial management and public administration) also attend the conference.
 
Submission Requirements
Submissions that are incomplete or fail to meet the following guidelines will not be considered for review:

  • Speakers must agree to speak in-person and virtually, depending on the conference format decided on by LeadingAge PA.
  • All proposals must be submitted by November 21, 2021.
  • Late submissions cannot be considered for review. No extensions will be granted.
  • Content and speaker changes will not be accepted once a proposal has been submitted.

In order to develop a high-quality, well-balanced education program, LeadingAge PA reserves the right to limit the number of sessions an organization may provide to no more than three sessions.
 
Evaluation Criteria
A peer review education task force of LeadingAge PA members, experts in the field, and Association staff will review submissions using the following evaluation criteria:

  • Timeliness and relevance of topic to aging services.
  • Practical and replicable applicability of concepts for aging services providers.
  • Clarity and depth of session content and education methods that enhance the learning experience.
  • Qualifications, expertise, and experience level of speakers.

  5.  Presentation must fit into one of the educational tracks listed  2022 Strategic Information Focus Areas & Annual Conference Education Tracks
  6. Contact information for each speaker – each speaker must have a unique email address
  7. Academic and professional background for each speaker to include:
  • Highest Degree Earned
  • Major/Discipline
  • Academic Institution
  • Year
  •  Provide a brief overview of the knowledge and professional experience related to the proposed session topic and the aging services
