The Fair, Accurate, Inclusive, Respectful (FAIR) Education Act: What You Need to Know About the Law and How to Implement it With Ease
The FAIR Education Act requires the inclusion of the contributions of various groups in the history of California and the United States to be taught in History-Social Science classrooms.
The purpose of this session is to:
Equip educators with information
Provide ideas on how to implement the FAIR education Act
In this session you will:
Understand the importance of person-first language use
Identify places in the history curriculum to implement the FAIR Education Act
Review lesson ideas for immediate use in the classroom
