IEP Meeting Facilitation and Conflict Resolution Training
(4-day virtual training)
February 22-25, 2022
Self-paced, with Live Sessions - see schedule below.
(Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants.)
This training prepares participants to successfully conduct effective IEP meetings, both in-person and virtually.
It is designed to teach a process to enable teams to collaborate effectively while preventing and managing conflict. This ensures that the meeting content and process stays focused on the needs of the student.
Combining online materials and live sessions, participants practice facilitation tools and techniques in actual simulations presented in a safe learning environment. Facilitation practices will prepare participants for managing both virtual and in-person meetings. This ensures that the facilitators are prepared to implement the skills they’ve just learned the very next day.
Intended audience: General Education and Special Education teachers and adminstrators, Special Education Related Services providers. (Maximum of 30 participants.)
Possible stipend available for staff of Santa Clara SELPAs I, II, III, IV, & VII attending ADR FIEP and Advance Training* (5 sessions total). Additional information to follow.
Facilitated by: Key2Ed
NOTE: The training is a blended learning format consisting of independent work presented through a learning management system (LMS) and live sessions delivered through Zoom technology. Please indicate your correct email address during registration to ensure proper delivery of the Zoom link and training manual.
