The Santa Clara County Office of Education, in partnership with the Santa Cruz County Office of Education, WestEd, and Medical Billing Technologies, has been designated as the statewide lead for LEA BOP Technical Assistance. The SCCOE Consortium will assist and support LEAs statewide in securing and maximizing federal reimbursement through the Medi-Cal Billing Option Program (LEA BOP) for services provided to Medi-Cal enrolled students under the age of twenty-two.
The SCCOE Consortium is hosting a virtual informational meeting for Local Education Agencies (LEAs) interested in participating in the LEA BOP Technical Assistance (LEA BOP TA) Program. Consortium members will present an overview of the LEA BOP TA Program, including the upcoming Professional Learning Network, coaching sessions, and the YHW Billing Website and Warmline. In addition, presenters will allot time to answer questions related to completing the Letter of Intent.
