California Collaborative for Learning Acceleration is hosting a 5-day Orton-Gillingham Training sponsored by the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education
Participants will receive training on: • Phonemic awareness • Multi-sensory strategies for reading, writing, and spelling • Syllabication patterns for encoding/decoding • Multi-sensory techniques for irregular words • Student assessment techniques • Guidelines for weekly lesson plans • Asynchronous fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension • Understanding how EL students can best learn English
Orton-Gillingham training, materials, and presenter fees are graciously covered by the California Collaborative for Learning Acceleration (CCLA) grant. *Your registration fees will contribute towards breakfast and lunch over the 5-day training.
