Privacy Policy: Personal data will be collected, processed, and stored by Infinity Conference Group (INFINITY) (the “Processor”), on behalf of Children and Screens, in its capacity as data controller (collectively, “we” or “us”), only for the preparation and execution of Children and Screens: Institute of Digital Media and Child Development Congress and Exposition, September 20-23, 2023 (“2023 Congress”).

Information We Collect

INFINITY may collect the following types of personal data when you visit the 2023 Congress registration site (“Site”) or otherwise interact with us related to your event registration and attendance:

• Contact information, such as name, mailing address, postal code, email address, and phone number.

• Demographic and business-related information, such as your job title or position and company name or affiliation.

• Event registration information, such as emergency contact details, hotel accommodations, dietary restrictions, and answers to event-related questions.

• Other information you provide to us, including information provided when you communicate with us or use the features available on the Site.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we or our third-party service providers may automatically receive and record certain information from your device or through the Site. For example, this may include your device’s IP address, web pages you visit or features you use within the Site (including across different devices), the date and time of your activities on the Site, time since your last visit, links you click, searches conducted, the website visited before navigating to the Site, your software and hardware attributes (including browser and operating system type and version, device screen size, mobile app version, device type, and device identifiers), demographic and interest data based on browsing activity, and your general location inferred from an IP address. How We Share Information

We may share information with third parties, including:

• Service providers to help operate the Site and provide other services related to the 2023 Congress, including to manage our communications, process payments, host and process data, and conduct analytics. We may permit these third-party service providers to collect information on our behalf or share information with these service providers for the purposes described in this Policy.

• Event co-sponsors and partners that co-sponsor events with us or otherwise partner with us to provide events or services to you.

• For legal purposes, for instance, when we believe using or sharing information is necessary:

o To comply with applicable law or a court order, subpoena, or other legal processes.

o To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, violations of our terms and conditions, or situations involving threats to Site users, our property, or the property or physical safety of any person or third party.

o To establish, protect, or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

• In the event of an actual or potential merger, sale of capital stock or assets, investment, reorganization, bankruptcy, consolidation, or similar transaction, we may share the information we possess to facilitate the transaction, including during due diligence, or as a corporate asset to the acquiring entity.

We partner with third parties to engage in analytics, auditing, research, and reporting on our Site. These third parties collect information regarding your usage of the Site as described in the section above titled “Information that We Collect,” and they may use server logs, cookies, web beacons, tags, pixels, mobile advertising IDs, and similar technologies. This section applies to those that access our Site from the European Economic Area (“EEA”), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom.

The information that we collect through or in connection with our Site and other services related to the September Congress is processed by INFINITY in the United States on behalf of Children and Screens in its role as data controller, for the purposes described above. When transferring personal information to countries outside the EEA, Switzerland, or the UK, we are required to ensure personal information about you is adequately protected in the country where it is transferred. We transfer personal information in this manner subject to safeguards that assure the protection of personal information, such as implementing standard contractual clauses.

We may process information about you under the following conditions:

• Performance of a contract: Provision of information about you is necessary for the performance of an agreement with you and/or for any pre-contractual obligations thereof.

INFINITY retains your information about you for as long as reasonably necessary for its legitimate business purposes, to provide the Site and related services to you, to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.
